Through the National scholarship portal, the students can apply for various scholarship schemes offered by the central and state government. This portal has been launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information technology, Government of India. Through this portal, the beneficiaries can even check their application status.
If you want to get a scholarship offered by the government then you have to apply online on the National Scholarship Portal by following the procedure given by us.
Fresh applications are also being accepted from 21st August 2020. The students are now not required to visit government offices in order to apply for scholarships. They just have to go to the official website and apply for a scholarship.
NSPPortal Last Date Extended
To encourage education the government provides scholarships to all eligible students. This scholarship is provided every year. The last date to apply for a scholarship has been extended by the government. The higher education director of the state has issued a notification to all the schools, colleges, and universities.
In this notification, he has asked all the educational institutions to ensure that all the eligible students apply for the scholarship before the last date. All the school students for level 1.1 and level 1.2 can apply for scholarships till 31st December 2020.
The last date of the first phase verification is 31st January and the last date of 2nd phase verification is 28 February. All the minority students who wish to apply for the scholarship on pre metric, post-matriculation, and merit basis will have to apply before 31st December 2020.

University Grants Commission (UGC) is the Apex body for the higher education system in India. University Grants Commission is also hosting some of its scholarshipson the national scholarship portal. These scholarships will provide financial support to the students of college and university.
The application procedure for NSP UGC Scholarship has started and the last date to apply for the scholarship is 5th February (Extended). You are required to read this article to grab all the information regarding the NSP UGC scholarship 2024.
UGC Scholarship Application Deadline Extended
UGC has extended the deadline of the online application procedure for the scholarship. All those students who have still not applied or renewed their application can be able to do so. The last date to apply for a UGC scholarship on the national scholarship portal is 20 January and the last date for the student verification by the institute has also been extended. Now the new date for verification is 5 February.
The application process on the national scholarship portal started on 1st September 2020. For Indira Gandhi PG scholarship for the single girl child, university rank holder PG scholarship, Northeastern region Ishan Uday special scheme, SC/ ST professional course PG scheme applications are still open. All the students who are interested to get a scholarship are required to fill the application form as soon as possible.

Eligibility Criteria For Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme
The applicant must belong to domiciles of North Eastern states including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Nagaland ( for Ishan Uday special scholarship scheme only)
The applicant must be a single girl child in the family (twin daughters can also apply) (only for PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for single girl child)
An applicant’s age should be less than 30 years
The family income of the applicant must be less than 4.5 lakh
The applicant must have taken admission in the first year of any degree course(Ishan Uday scholarship). The applicant must have taken admitted in the first year of the regular master’s degree program (PG Indira Gandhi scholarship)

The applicant must be a rank holder in their graduation exam (for PG scholarship for university rank holders)
